Dr. Bennett

Dr. Karen Bennett was born and raised in South Florida. She received her dental hygiene degree and worked for ten years as a hygienist. With encouragement from other dentists, she decided to continue her education. The brochure from the University of Washington Dental School was too enticing---Mount Rainier in the background. She applied, was accepted and the rest is history. "I enjoy the challenge of helping patients overcome their dental fears through gentle dental care. The reward of seeing a patient happy with a painless visit or enjoying their bright new smile gives me great satisfaction. The Northwest is truly a great place to live. I am glad to have fallen for that UofW brochure."

Post Graduate Training: One year General Practice Residency at the University of Washington. University of Washington Medical Center. Dentistry for the Medically Compromised. Childrens Hospital and Medical Center. Emergency and comprehensive pediatric dental care.

Positions Previously Held: Harborview Medical Center Focus of Oral Surgery. Veterans Administration Hospital.

Memberships: American Dental Association. Washington State Dental Association, and Seatttle King County Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Personal: Married to Christopher Kindem, has a daughter Shelby. Interests; Downhill Skiing, Cycling, and Swimming.
